With the ghastly killing of five Indian jawans along the LoC by Pakistan, the question has again risen whether it is futile to pursue any talks with Pakistan. While the newly-elected Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif promised better relations with India, security experts, analysts in India were skeptical about Sharif's ability to deliver his promise as the civilian government in Pakistan still holds little sway over the military-jihadi complex. So are the Indo-Pak talks reaching a dead end even before they have begun? Will Pakistan show serious intent in investigating and bringing to book the perpetrators of 26/11?
