The expedition team's trip from Kargil to Rangdum was quite eventful. They rode uphill on mountain bikes for the first 40kms, after which they moved to more comfortable seats in a mini-bus. The Kargil-Zanskar highway they travelled on, passes though Suru Valley in Jammu and Kashmir's Ladakh region. It is serene, beautiful and extremely picturesque.
