Although the Indian cricket team is led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in One Day Internationals and by Virat Kohli in Tests, Ashwin istinguishes the former as a quiet strategist while the latter being enthusiastic about the game and the team. On his ontemporaries, Ashwin reveals how Ajanta Mendis influenced his bowling tricks. Ashwin also feels it is impossible to bowl a "doosra" with a straight arm and it could soon be a dying art.
