US jobless falls near 4-year low; Greece talks stuck on bond swap agreement

The number of people applying of jobless benefits fell 50,000 to 352,000, the fewest in nearly four years. Also, the Bank of America and Morgan Stanley’s results exceeded expectations. Meanwhile, Eastman has filed for bankruptcy protection and obtained a $950 million, 18-month credit facility from Citigroup. In Europe, Greece and its bondholders make little progress as talks were stuck on interest payment that Greece must offer on its new bonds under the swap.
