A day before polling in Bastar, the Maoists ambushed and killed three soldiers of the CoBRA battalion and injured three. This, as the soldiers escorted a polling team of government officials from Chintagufa and were on their way back to the camp. The attack took place in Sukma, a region known to be dominated by the Maoists.
