In an Interview with NDTV Profit, Hemindra Hazari said wastage in Indian agriculture may not be as high as commentators are saying to justify foreign direct investment. Wastage in developed countries should be much higher as they focus on standardization of appearance of agricultural commodities for the consumers, he added.
