US navy opens fire off Dubai, Indian fisherman killed

At 3:30 am local time, a US naval ship trained its machine guns on a boat in Jabel Ali, a frequent docking point for American naval vessels about 30 miles southwest of Dubai. An Indian fisherman on board was killed; three others were injured.
