UP rape horrors: Mayawati slams Opposition for 'politicising' incidents

Under fire for a string of rape incidents in her state in the last two days, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati today hit out at the Opposition, blaming it for "politicising" the incidents. The chief minister's response came following widespread condemnation by political parties after the state reported eight incidents of rape in the last forty-eight hours.
