Kamal Faruqui, member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, didn't mince his words when he said that Uniform Civil Code is a political agenda which is impossible to implement in India. Dropping a hint that consensus would even elude different religions and sects among the majority of the population, Kamal Faruqui added that the draft Code Bill first be discussed among the other sections of the population and then the Muslim community's view should be sought.
