Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, today said he has served for years as a "backroom boy" in his party and so has been "closely associated with election arrangements and strategy." His assessment for the general elections now is: "I believe that this will be the Congress's worst performance ever and the BJP's and NDA's best performance in their history."
