An unique application for mobile phones called 'fightback' can help women feel secure. The application can be downloaded to smartphones and and once the Alert button is pressed it tracks down the person's location through the Global Positioning System (GPS). Those who need urgent help can press the panic button. By doing so the message and location will be flashed on the person's Facebook and Twitter pages.
