While an education in the US without scholarships was a luxury that only the very rich could afford ten or fifteen years ago, it had gradually became accessible to even the upper middle class. But with the falling rupee, graduate students at US universities are preoccupied with more than just studies. They are worried about the sliding value of the rupee against the dollar with courses getting costlier.
