A Deputy Superintendent of Police was slapped and roughed up by an angry mob in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's home district of Etawah late on Monday night. The locals were reportedly angry over the district authority's delayed response to a fire that engulfed a house in the area.
