Days after the Shiv Sena and BJP separated after a bitter fight over seats, the Sena has targeted BJP leader and Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel through its newspaper editorials. The Sena has equated her invitation to industry to move to Gujarat as an attempt to loot the state of its own financial prowess, a charge the BJP has dismissed.
