Released after 30 yrs, Surjeet Singh crosses over to India

Surjeet Singh, who's spent three decades in a Pakistani jail on charges of spying, has been released and handed over to India. The 69-year-old, told the media waiting at Wagah border that he was very happy with his release. "I am waiting to hug my children and go to the Golden Temple" he said. " I was treated very well by the Pakistani authrorities, all through these years," he added. In the 30 years that have passed, one of Surjeet Singh's sons has died and his other children have got married.
