The government has decided to discontinue stamps in the builders of modern India series featuring Indira and Rajiv Gandhi, saying they are introducing a new series called makers of India which will feature only 24 personalities, including Pandit Jawharalal Nehru, Deendayal Upadhyaya, Jayprakash Narayan, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Ram Manohar Lohia and Vallabhbhai Patel. Are these necessary focus or are bigger priorities falling victim to trivial politics?
