President Pranab Mukherjee today conferred the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour, on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was present at Mr Vajpayee's home, said the former PM's life has always been an inspiration for him.
