Union finance minister Arun Jaitley has told NDTV that he has spoken to every Congress leader on the Goods and Services Tax Bill to break the deadlock and feels optimistic that it will get passed. The government has been trying to build support for the crucial reform bill through the day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too, has expressed confidence about the bill. Parliament convenes for the winter session tomorrow.
