One person was killed and 12 others were injured in a blast in Guwahati today evening, according to reports. According to the Press Trust of India, the blast reportedly took place outside a railway station in the Assam capital at around 7:45 pm today. The Improvised Explosive Device was hurled targeting CRPF personnel in Guwahati's busy Paltan Bazar area near the Assam State Transport Corporation ticket counter adjacent to a police station.
