Just over a month into the centre's notes ban, owners and workers at India's most famous and prolific carpet industry in eastern Uttar Pradesh 's Bhadohi - Mirzapur belt say business has slowed down. Some owners have switched to cheque payments for workers but low availability of cash in banks means it's not working for those on the lower rungs of the industry. Owners say their big challenge is coming up in the next two months.
