Dr Haseeb Drabu, an economist, says the RBI's decision is far more effective but it is unclear whether it will bring down the inflation. He adds that growth will now be an issue and inflation will keep on rising because of higher oil prices. Subhada Rao, chief economist at Yes Bank, says the RBI has made a bold decision this time.
