Gaurav Mehta, vice president-institutional equities at Ambit Capital, says that the markets are expected to see strong resistance around 8400-8500 levels over next 3 months. He says earnings so far have lagged expectations and signs of a tangible economic recovery through macro numbers seem unlikely.
