The firing by NATO helicopters and combat jets on Pakistan soldiers has added further strain to already tense Pakistan-US relationship. As the issue flared up, Pakistan called a meeting of the Defence Committee of the Cabinet on Saturday which asked the United States to vacate its key airbase within 15 days and closed NATO supply lines into Afghanistan.
