These are just some of the recent activities at the National Museum in Delhi, nothing short of of miracle for an institution that just two years ago was on the brink of a collapse. Years of neglect and apathy had turned the museum into a mess. But now, the man credited with this turnaround, has been transferred out in a move that could put the museum in peril once again. And many artists academics and cultural activists hope that it can still be reversed.
