The global scientific community is excited that India's Mangalyaan conducting an extensive search of methane gas on Mars. India's Methane Sensor for Mars is a first of its kind instrument to be flown to Mars. ISRO scientist Kurian Mathew, the man in-charge of this methane gas sensor, in an exclusive interview with NDTV's Science Editor Pallava Bagla said India's satellite will bring back the first global picture of the presence of methane on mars.
