Demonetisation will funnel a large chunk of cash lying idle into the formal economy, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely said at speaking the 2016 HT Leadership Summit. "There won't be the same level of paper currency that there was on 8th November. This will take the country further towards digital currency," he said.
