Published On: December 22, 2011 | Duration: 1 min, 54 sec
The Lokpal Bill brought to Parliament today has altered the reservation quota to drop minorities for the nine members of the new Lokpal or ombudsman. Predictably, politicians like Lalu Prasad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan have objected fiercely to the change. Lalu led the objections in Parliament, forcing the Lok Sabha to adjourn till 2 pm. "We don't accept this, fix it and bring it back," he said.
