J Jayalalithaa completes one year as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu today. She marked the anniversary with massive front page ads in all national dailies. According to unofficial estimates, the ads inserted by the Tamil Nadu government, through its Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), could have cost at least Rs. 15 crore.
