Hours before the golden jubilee celebrations at Government Medical College in Srinagar, three doctors were picked up from the campus for asking students not to attend the programme in the name of "religion and culture". A campaign was unleashed declaring the music events, which were to be staged, to be anti-Islam by a group of doctors in the college.
