Union Steel minister Ram Vilas Paswan may want us to believe that the marathon meeting with steel makers on Thursday was a big victory for him and steel users with companies partially rolling back prices. But a day later it is now clear there is very little relief for steel users. The price of benchmark hot rolled coil prices has not been touched and HR steel is a key raw material for galvanised producers.
