Ousted Maldives President Mohammad Nasheed is slated to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and is expected to ask India to push for early elections in the island country. The former President spoke to NDTV in an exclusive, saying, "it was unfortunate and shocking that India felt the need to recognise the new status quo" in Maldives.
