Criticised for his prolonged silence over a number of scams and controversies, the Prime Minister finally tried to clear the air today in a meeting with newspaper Editors. He answered questions on talks within the party about Rahul as Prime Minister, saying the Congress party and president had entrusted him with the job and he had not heard "any contrary view".
