As Barack Obama gets set for his second stint at the White House after being re-elected as the US president, Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has expressed hope that the former will put an end to the drone strikes in his country. Speaking on NDTV's Your Call, Mr Khan, the chief of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), said that since Obama no longer faces the pressure of another election, he can ignore the pressure from the pro-war lobby and out an end to the drone attacks in Pakistan, that he termed as "barbaric" and "counter-productive". Calling Obama as a man of peace, Mr Khan said that he hoped that the US President will follow his instincts.
