High stakes verdict for Andhra by-polls today

Results of by-elections to seven assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh will be out today in what is being called a quarter-final by many political analysts, who say the semi-final will be the next round of byelections to 17 assembly seats, held so far by Jaganmohan Reddy's supporters. The outcome, they say, may even force mid-term elections in Andhra Pradesh.
