Hamid Ansari is elected India's Vice President again

Hamid Ansari, 75, is the country's 14th Vice President. This will be a second term for him; he's only the second person to get second term. Mr Ansari polled 490 of the valid votes cast today. His opponent, the NDA's Jaswant Singh, a BJP leader and former Union Minister, got only 238. Eight votes were found invalid.
