One of Islam's most revered religious sites: the Prophet's tomb (Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi) and the holy sites of Mecca and Medina, has just eight men as guardians. Dating back to the 11th century, they once numbered in thousands. And until 2013, no one had ever been allowed to photograph the men. But by royal sanction their faces - and legacy - have been preserved forever. The important task fell to Saudi Arabian photographer Adel Quraishi, who has managed to capture the spirit of these guides. (Video Courtesy: Associated Press)
