The government, sources say, is likely to appeal to the Supreme Court against its order to set up a special committee to track and help recover crores of black money. On Monday, the Supreme Court, in a show of poor confidence in the government, ordered that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) would be headed by a retired judge and would report directly to the court.
