A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped -- and in an eerie reminder of the December 16 gang-rape in Delhi -- violated with sticks, by two neighbours in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. The area had been under media glare last year after two cousins were found hanging from a tree. The police have arrested the youths, who are minors. A third assailant, who had aided them, is absconding.
