For the first time advanced embryo transfer technology has been introduced in Jammu and Kashmir to increase the production of meat and wool. Frozen embryos of high quality breeds from three varieties-- dorper, ramboillete and corriedale -- are being implanted into indigenous recipients by a team of experts from Canada and South Africa.
