Durban climate talks: India, China vs rich nations?

The climate talks are picking up in Durban and India and China are coming closer. This is because both are facing the heat from developed nations, especially Europe, to pull their weight in reducing carbon emissions. Simply put, the West says that China and India should commit to more, at least in the future. But the developing economies say they can't afford to, and point out that their carbon emissions per capita is far lower than the West's.
