The day began with the dramatic arrest of Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar of the Aam Aadmi Party. It ended with his resignation, hours after a court sent him to four days in police custody. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted Mr Tomar's resignation.
