In support of the NDTV-Diageo Road Safety Week campaign, NGOs Protsahan and HelpAge India join in at our ground events in Mumbai to raise awareness around various issues affecting road safety in India. Also Diageo representative Abanti Sankaranarayanan and Anand Kripalu, MD and CEO of United Spirits Ltd (USL), join the discussion to talk about corporate responsibility towards this issue which deserves utmost public attention. The campaign while highlighting the appalling state of roads in India and the need to focus on road safety, also came up with a
7-point agenda on Road Safety to present to the government for implementation.
