Caught on camera: Bike chase before J Dey was shot

NDTV has footage of the last few minutes of journalist J Dey's life. Mr Dey, an investigative reporter, was shot dead on June 11 in a crowded Mumbai market while he was riding his two-wheeler home.

Yesterday, the Mumbai Police said that Mr Dey's murder was a hit ordered by the Chhota Rajan gang.

The new footage shows how closely four men on two motorcycles were following Mr Dey that Saturday afternoon in Mumbai's Powai suburb. The video does not show Mr Dey being shot. It shows the bike chase. And then people reacting to what was most likely the sound of gunshots. There is no audio in the footage. (Please note this footage may not be suitable for children)
