G Chokkalingam, founder of Equinomics Research & Advisory, has a buy call on ITC, saying that besides its cigarettes business being profitable, the company has been expanding its hotels business. The hotels sector is likely to improve going ahead in parallel with an expected economic turnaround in the next 12-18 months.
