The Buck Stops Here Weekend Edition discussed the politics over the Bodh Gaya serial blasts. The Bihar government's cultural advisor Pavan Varma said it was not true that intelligence inputs were not acted on, but there was no absolute guarantees when it came to preventing terror attacks. But the BJP, instead of expressing anguish, was trying to score political points. The BJP's Prakash Javadekar rubbished Mr Varma's allegations, saying they were one on fighting terror but both the Centre and the state should have acted on the intelligence inputs. K C Singh said terror is a global phenomenon and nothing to do with Bihar in particular, it probably had to do with the situation in Myanmar. The Congress' Abhishek Singhvi said terror has no colour or religion, and that the Congress does not want to start a blamegame.
