A top leader of the BJP, Visheshwar Ojha, has been killed this evening Bhojpur district of Central Bihar. He was shot dead while returning from a wedding. Mr Ojha was Vice President of the BJP and had reportedly been named in police cases on charges including murder. He contested the Bihar elections last year unsuccessfully.
