In a big blow to Varun Gandhi, his attempt to quash the FIR against him for making a hate speech in Pilibhit has failed. The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday rejected his plea, saying there was a prima facie case against him. The court however said there is no need to stay his arrest since the Delhi High Court has already given him anticipatory bail.
