A nine-year-old girl was run over by a public bus in Bangalore today. The bus is operated by the Bangalore Metro Transport Corporation or BMTC. The girl, Shubha Harini, has suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to the Jain Hospital in the city. According to doctors, Shubha may need multiple surgeries. Her leg is damaged and may also have to be amputated.
