Despite orders from the Supreme Court, India's cricket board the BCCI defiantly refused to undertake key administrative reforms for greater transparency. So today a panel set up by the court has said the board should be sacked for non-compliance. Including its President Anurag Thakur and Secretary Ajay Shirke. In scathing words, the court said the BCCI had to fall in line or else they would be made to. The reforms suggested by the Lodha panel have far-reaching implications for the way Indian cricket is run but the Board which is dominated by powerful politicians and administrators is not listening.
