Uttar Pradesh, where on one side a khap panchayat bans the use of mobile phones for women comes an encouraging story of two women from small districts of Deoria and Barabanki. Poonam and Lajjawati are shattering the old traditions and mindset of people. With the support of their families, these two women are empowering the other women of their village to build their own identity. Poonam from Deoria believes gender can never be an excuse for those who are determined and dedicated. While Lajjawati proves that lack of money cannot be a hindrance to fulfilling dreams. Through the stories of these two women, we not only witness their journey but also see how others in the society and in the area are influenced by their sense of entrepreneurship.
